PHILIP J. O’REILLY, ESQ. (Deceased 1938-2018)




Mr. O'Reilly is a graduate of the University of Notre Dame in 1960 and St. John’s Law School in 1963.  Mr. O’Reilly holds a Master of Law in Taxation from New York University.  Upon admission to the New York State Bar in 1964, Mr. O’Reilly was employed in the tax department of Peat, Marwick, Mitchell & Co.  He was a member of the firm of Delaney & O’Reilly from 1968 through 1979.  Mr. O’Reilly was a founding member of the firm of Doran, Buckley, Kremer, O’Reilly & Pieper in 1979 and of its successor firm, Buckley, Kremer, O’Reilly, Pieper, Hoban & Marsh in 1982.  Mr. O’Reilly has been the managing partner of O’Reilly, Marsh & Corteselli P.C. since the firm’s formation in 1986.  He practices principally in the corporate area with an emphasis in corporate finance, securities law, real estate and estate planning.  Mr. O’Reilly is a member of the New York State and Nassau County Bar Associations and the President and a director of the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County.

Mr. Marsh is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Fordham University in 1972 and a Cum Laude graduate of St. John’s Law School in 1976.  After admission to the New York State Bar in 1976, Mr. Marsh was associated with the law offices of Vincent G. Berger, Jr.  In 1979 he joined the firm of Doran, Buckley, Kremer, O’Reilly & Pieper as the senior litigation associate.  He was a founding member of Buckley, Kremer, O’Reilly, Pieper, Hoban & Marsh in 1982 and of O’Reilly, Marsh & Corteselli P.C. in 1986.  Mr. Marsh specializes in representation of financial institutions and handles all aspects of their business, including mortgage lending, other secured and unsecured lending, real estate and lease matters, securities matters and corporate governance.  Mr. Marsh authored the New York State Chapter of the “National Mortgage Law Summary” published by the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and contributed to “Foreclosure Law and Related Remedies” published by the Section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law of the American Bar Association.  Mr. Marsh is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the Bar Association for the Counties of Nassau and Suffolk, and the City of New York.  He is a long standing member of the Banking Law Committees for each of these Bar Associations.  Mr. Marsh is a member of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and is the current New York State Chairman of the College.  Mr. Marsh is admitted to practice in all Courts of the State of New York; in the United States District Courts for the Southern, Northern, and Eastern Districts of New York; the Second Circuit Court of Appeals; in the Tax Court of the United States; and in the Supreme Court of the United States.


KAREN P. CORTESELLI

Ms. Corteselli is a Summa Cum Laude graduate of Boston College in 1979 and a Cum Laude graduate of Georgetown University Law Center in 1982, where she was an Editor of the American Criminal Law Review.  After admission to the New York State Bar in 1982, Ms. Corteselli was associated with the firm of Buckley, Kremer, O’Reilly, Pieper, Hoban & Marsh.  Ms. Corteselli was a founding member of O’Reilly, Marsh & Corteselli P.C. in 1986.  Her areas of legal specialization are commercial, multi-family and residential mortgage lending, real estate finance, regulatory compliance, real estate foreclosures and corporate transactions.  Ms. Corteselli is a member of the Bar Associations for the State of New York and the County of Nassau.  She is a member of the American College of Mortgage Attorneys and is a former adjunct professor at C.W. Post College lecturing in the area of Real Property Law.  Ms. Corteselli was the author of the Title Insurance Section of Warren’s Weed New York Real Property.  She is admitted to practice in all Courts of the State of New York and in the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Southern, and Northern Districts of New York.






ARTHUR T. WALSH

Mr. Walsh is a Cum Laude graduate of St. John’s University in 1984 and the Jacob D. Fuchsburg Law Center of Touro College in 1987.  Upon admission to the New York State Bar in 1988, Mr. Walsh became a staff trial attorney with the Legal Aid Society of Suffolk County.  Mr. Walsh joined O’Reilly, Marsh & Corteselli P.C. in 1989.  Prior to July 2010, when he was appointed General Counsel to the Nassau Regional Off-Tracking Betting Corporation, Mr. Walsh was a member of the firm and practiced primarily in the areas of real estate finance and banking, representing institutional lenders in the sale and financing of commercial, multi-family and residential real estate leasing, transactions, real estate secured debt restructuring and commercial, real estate, industrial accident defense, foreclosure and collection litigation.  Former Special Prosecutor - the Incorporated Village of Massapequa Park.  Since 1994, Mr. Walsh has served as Special Village Prosecutor of the Incorporated Village of Floral Park with respect to zoning and building code violations.  He is also the Substitute Prosecutor of the Incorporated Village of Stewart Manor.  Mr. Walsh is a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Xavier High School Bar Association and the Bar Associations for the Counties of Nassau and Suffolk.  Mr. Walsh is also admitted to practice in all Courts of the State of New York and in the United States District Court for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York.

Mr. Liebler is a 2009 graduate of Hofstra University as a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Honor Society, and a 2013 graduate of the Hofstra University School of Law. Before joining O’Reilly, Marsh & Corteselli P.C., he was a judicial intern and an associate attorney practicing in the fields of foreclosure and business law.  He now practices primarily in the areas of commercial, foreclosure and collection litigation. Mr. Liebler is admitted to practice in all Courts of the State of New York and New Jersey, and in the United States District Court for the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
